It’s horrible, nobody’s denying that, but its hard to be empathetic when you equate your isolated incident to centuries upon centuries of degradation, rape, genocide, colonialism, imperialism etc. etc. that we and our ancestors have experienced.

ALL races have been sold into slavery, been in concentration camps/war camps, have been discriminated against at one point in the history of human beings. And you know what’s funny?, it was usually their own people that sold them. How about we just STOP being bigots. Racism is racism, no matter what color, and you cant fight racism with more racism. 

Oh look! Someone who derailed the ENTIRE conversation to give the “We were all slaves at one time” argument. I’ve never heard that in my entire life!
