QuestionIs it cultural appropriation if someone of a different culture participates in aspects of another if it's done in a genuine and respectful way- Say for example, a white person wearing a sari to a Diwali celebration and understands the tradition behind it, someone who's not Native American wearing Native American made clothing, etc. If the person really makes an attempt to understand the culture and meaning behind the certain aspects?
